www.songwriting.org.uk is an online, not for profit, awareness, education, information and fundraising website created, operated and owned by The Songwriting Organisation UK CIC, registered as a non-profit, Community Interest Company limited by guarantee, registered England and Wales (company number 14878704), registered office: 9 Caxton House, Broad Street, Cambourne, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, CB23 6JN, UK.

1. General

These terms and conditions (“Terms”) apply to all and any use or interaction with the (“the Website”) available at www.son writing.org.uk and all Intellectual Property Rights therein. The Website and references to the Website includes each part of it and the Content, which includes:

1. All and any (“Produced Content”) comprising of any information, text, images, videos created by or for The Songwriting Organisation UK CIC which may also be made for download from the Website.

2. All and any (“User Content”) comprising of any information, text, images, videos uploaded or transferred in any other method to The Songwriting Organisation UK CIC by the users of the Website.

3. Any (“Communications”) text, images or videos made to or using any services available on the Website.

4. “Intellectual Property Rights” describes all ownership rights and all copyright or trade marks (registered, unregistered or pending).

5. By using the Website you confirm that you understand, accept and are bound by these Terms .

6. If you do not accept these Terms you should refrain from any use of the Website.

7. If you are under the age of 13 you should get a parent or guardian to explain the meaning for these Terms to you. If you are under the age of 18 you must obtain consent for your parent or guardian before any use of the website.

8. Except as stated here there are no other warranties conditions or other terms, expressed or implied, statutory or otherwise and all such terms are hereby ecluded to the maximum permitted by law but subject to your statutory and common law consumer rights.

9. The Website is intended for use in the UK and no warranties are made as to whether the Website complies with regulatory laws of any other countries.

10. The use of the Website and these terms are subject to the laws of England which shall exclusively govern the interpretation, application and effect of all the above permissions, exclusions, licenses and conditions of use and shall be construed in accordance with the laws of England and all parties submit to the exclusive juristriction of the English courts.

11. All Intellectual Property Rights in the Website are the property of The Song Writing Organisation UK CIC and are hereby reserved.

12. The Songwriting Organisation UK CIC reserve the right to alter or amend these Terms at any time with immediate effect.

2. Photography, images and videos.

1. All reasonable actions are taken to protect the interests of all individuals featured in the content of our Website and that all permissions and consent required have been reasonably requested.

2. Some of the images may be posed by models and do not depict actual situations and are used to illustrate the work of The Songwriting Organisation UK CIC. No further responsibility for any copyright infringement or personal liability in anyway are accepted by The Songwriting Organisation UK CIC or due to any third parties acting on behalf of The Songwriting Organisation UK CIC.

3. Product purchases.

1. You agree to the following Terms when purchasing (“Products”) via the Website. Your statutory rights are not affected by these Terms

2. Your offer to purchase will be termed as your (“Order”) and once received we will send you an automated confirmation email of your Order details which does not in itself mean we can meet your Order.

3. After the confirmation email is sent we will check your Order and if we accept it we will contact you with another email or send the product. Once you have received this email or the Product is sent to you a binding contract will exist.

4. We may use third parties to produce, supply and deliver your order. No liabilities shall be incurred by The Songwriting Organisation CIC UK for any loss or damage caused by the actions of said third parties.

5. You may cancel your Order of Products at any time up to the end of the fifth working day after receiving it if it unused and in its original packaging. Please return it to us as soon as possible and you shall receive a refund in any payment method decided on by The Songwriting Organisation UK CIC as soon as possible and not longer than 10 working days or in accordance with any third party involvement.

6. You are responsible for returning goods to us in an opened and resalable condition. We reserve the right to withhold all or some of the payment price if Products are not returned to us as resalable.

7. Payment may be made online or over the phone by the methods stated on the Website. Cheques must be made payable to “The Songwriting Organisation UK CIC” and will only be accepted with a covering letter detailing your order, a cheque guarantee card number, guaranteed amount, expiry date, contact details and delivery address.

8. All payment and personal details will be encrypted to minimise the possibility of any data breaches.

4. Donations.

1. Donations can be made to The Songwriting Organisation UK CIC as instructed by the Website or by post to 9 Caxton House, Broad Street, Cambourne, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, CB23 6JN, UK.

2. Cheques must be made payable to “The Songwriting Organisation UK CIC” and will only be accepted with a covering letter, a cheque guarantee card number, guaranteed amount, expiry date and contact details.

3. Donors can select which project they would prefer their donation to be applied to via the methods instructed on the Website. Company office administration costs may be occasionally applicable on these donations. If no instructions are given The Songwriting Organisation UK CIC will allocate all donations received accordingly.

4. All payment and personal details will be encrypted to minimise the possibility of any data breaches.
